Aeon Kingdom

First Ban
5/31/2010 1:16:00 PM

Okay, so we have our first ban in the kingdom. Unfortunately, Bouncer has been officially kicked out of the kingdom.

It seems he was sending various messages to RavenRiot's cell phone about how much he wanted her to do stuff with him and such details that I'd rather not get into.

Now I won't lie, RavenRiot is a gorgeous woman. I'm starting to get used to people hitting on her, but he stepped over a few boundaries that didn't need to be stepped over.

If he would have apologized and admitted to his error, I would have just forgave him and moved on. But, on top of it all; he ended up calling me names, and telling Havok that RavenRiot was responding that she was up for what he was talking about.

So the first people I called were Gator and Zaarsky, they pretty much have spread the word now.

My patience for putting up with people that hit on RavenRiot is becoming thinner.

The MetroCon Decision
5/25/2010 5:31:00 PM

Okay, so I've been pushing ideas around in my head lately about MetroCon. I'm trying to justify the amount of money it takes to stay the whole weekend and I just can't. The more I think about it, the more I remember that I spent over $200 on one weekend at MetroCon last year.

Long story short, I've decided that this year, the kingdom will only 'sanction' one day attendance, unless we can suddenly come up with the money to get at least 2 hotel rooms. Since that seems unlikely, everyone who wants to attend as a part of the Aeon Kingdom this year, will be showing up on Saturday! From morning till morning, of course!

We will arrive, have fun, and attend the party that night as well. Then we will drive back home... yay for tired highway driving at 4 AM!

So remember. This means to attend with us, you will need to bring $35 for your day ticket and at least $50 for spending money (i.e. food, souvenirs).

So if you can get together at LEAST $70, you should totally come with us this year.

Also, you definitely want to let us know if you're coming ahead of time, so we can make you a shirt.

The Tournament
5/23/2010 7:49:00 PM

The tournament turned out great! We have many new recruits from the event and all of our people did great.

I, on the other hand was eliminated on the first round. I had tied up on kills with second place, but he had one less death. I blame the fact that Zaarsky was one of the people I played against on the first round.

Anyway, right after I got eliminated, I got called back in as a place holder for one of the other people to have a kill count. I actually got first place on that round... But remained eliminated. That kind of sucked.

Anyway, here's a list of our members (as of event attendance) with their ranks:

RavenRiot - Queen
1HotMa - Baroness
Zaarsky - High Knight
Gator - Knight
Hatchett Man - Knight
Havok - Knight
Paco - Knight
Bouncer - Knight
Goldy Locks - Knight
Miller Time - Knight

Congratulations to everyone that has joined us as well as everyone who was promoted!

Special congratulations to Hatchett Man for placing the highest out of all of us in the tournament.

Also special congratulations to Zaarsky on his promotion from Knight to High Knight for all the recruits brought by him to the event.

Next on our calendar is MetroCon! Don't forget to contact us at info@aeonkingdom.com and ask us so that we can make you a shirt and include you as one of us!

I'll have more to say on MetroCon next time I post.

Upcoming Fun
5/17/2010 3:07:00 PM

So, two things have caught my attention as of now.

May 22, 2010, there is going to be a Modern Warfare 2 tournament at Aaron's in Lake Wales.

That should go well, today I will be meeting up with Zaarsky to look at designs for what our t-shirts are going to look like. We seem to be clashing over the phone a bit. He loves shirts with large designs on the front. I, on the other hand, hate frontal designs.

For now, I want to keep it simple, though. Until we have more members, that is. A 1-1 vote won't get us anywhere good, to be honest. Hopefully, we will be having 12 honorary members wearing the shirts. From there, we'll see who stays with us.

July 23 - 25, 2010, is MetroCon! Yay!

I'm definitely looking forward to this. I won't say much on it, just that it's making me happyface.
